Sully's Vendor 2000 T-Shirt
In the spring of 2000, the Boston-based record label Bridge Nine had just signed their first band willing to tour everywhere, and they needed money to produce their first record and give it a proper push. So label owner Chris Wrenn and members of the bands on his label headed to Fenway Park to sell rivalry-fueling "Yankees Suck" merchandise to earn the money that was needed to invest in it. And with that, Sully's Brand was born.
This t-shirt features an image taken by photographer Kate Bowen during the summer of 2000, capturing two Yankees Suck vendors on the corner of Jersey Street and Brookline Ave, the old Boston Beer Works in the background as they peddled t-shirts and bumper stickers to the crowd leaving Fenway.
